Schedule Message

Definition and Use

  • Schedules: For description of short sea schedules and contact details. Use for long term repetitive Master Schedules, ship Voyage Schedules and Delay updates from the Carrier.

Versions and Schemas

The latest version of the Schedule message schema is Version 1.2. The URL of the schema can be opened in a development tool like Altova XML Spy. The URL must also be referred to in the XML message itself. The URL of the schemas are: 

Sample XML messages

We have published sample XML messages for each of the messages. These XML messages can be opened and viewed in your browser or worked on and refined using Microsoft XML Notepad 2007 or a development tool like Altova XML Spy. They contain all the tags in the messages.

Subsets

To accommodate needs for specific uses of the messages, we have developed sample message subsets together with carriers and shippers. For Schedules the planned Subsets are:

  • Schedule Version 1.2 Subsets
    • Master:
      The Master Schedule of the Carrier containing routes and contact details.
    • Voyage:
      The Voyage Schedule contains the ship schedules the coming 2-4 weeks.
    • Delays
      The Delay Schedule contains delays relative to the Voyage Schedule.
